Fun stuff to do with kids

• invite some friends over, with their blankies and their favorite books and have a reading marathon
• play flashlight tag
• do some science experiments
• go to the library
• play hide and seek
• create a symphony with bottles, pans and rubber bands
• string noodles or cereal onto a necklace
• make up a song
• make a blanket fort and take naps in it
• make a map of your bedroom, house or neighborhood
• have a spelling bee
• surprise and elderly neighbor or relative by offering them a service (mow lawn, weed garden, cook a meal)
• learn sign language alphabet and speak "in code" to each other
