Family Friday...late again!

This was the last time that Michael put on his BDU's. It was so weird. He didn't get why I was taking a picture. He was really embarassed about his boots being so dirty, but I accidentally packed his good pair. I will never see him put this uniform on again, and will never sit and watch him polish his boots. I was in tears, worried, wondering what the heck we had gotten ourselves into...or out of! But the Lord is so good, everytime I was feeling hopeless or questioning this whole ordeal, he sent someone my way as a visitor or a phone call, a relative, to encourage me.

Then we spent the next week on the road. We were quite the caravan. And I stared at the back of the Penske truck for 7 days straight. And again, God is so good, we made it the entire trip with very little trouble.

I think we have settled into a pretty good routine here, and are working out the bugs of our new life. It is harder than I expected, but if God is for us, who can be against us, right?! We are looking forward to finding a new church home and are anxious to see what our Heavenly Father has in store for us here!
