Glutton for punishment

Back in October, or was it November? Either way, we decided to try to visit my side of the family for Christmas. If the stars aligned and Micheal could get the time off and we could get good ticket prices, we would travel from TX to FL for the Blessed Holiday. We weren't counting on being able to get time off since he is the low man on the totem pole, but the boss was generous. Tickets were a different story, they were not in our price range! Now here is the glutton for punishment part...we decided to drive!! Yes, after spending a week in the car to move across the country, and barely enough time in between to get my laundry done, we got back in the car to drive another two days to visit with my family. And after Christmas we will spend two more days getting home. Whew what a month! But as I sit here watching my kids play with their cousins and get to know my family, I can't help but think it is totally worth it. Merry Christmas to all who read my blog, if you haven't yet leArned the reason for the season, leave me a comment, I'd be happy to share what the Bible says is the reasoon for the season.

OH MY! You are a glutton for punishment!

Spokane to Seattle is my max time in the car. I am sure it will be worth it to see your family for Christmas though:)

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas. Your kids will thank you one day when they are 30 and get together with their cousins and talk about the holidays when they were kids. You're making memories!! Good for you. Stay safe.

My oh my, I thought it would be a good idea to send your goodies until AFTER you made it safely (like you need one more thing to get lost in the moving commotion), but maybe I'll wait a little longer :) I'll make it a New Year's gift :) Have a safe trip & Merry Christmas, I miss you around here!
