Why I started blogging...

Tip Junkie (a favorite blog of mine) is having a linky-thingy and wanted to know why women blog. Really, I just wanted to be cool like Jodie! Well, she is cool, and so is her blog, but the real reason was to show off cute pictures of my kids.

The first blog I started reading was Tidbits of Green by Ben and Sarah Green, the newlyweds. Then I found Jodi's blog, and through her links I found a few more and then a few more and then a few more. Pretty soon I was reading several blogs each morning, as if they were the morning newspaper!

Between enjoying other blogs so much and the pressure from my mom to send grandkid photos ALL THE TIME I decided a blog was the way to go. It has turned out to be a great outlet for me.

Other blogs inspire me in so many ways, I love crafty blogs, mom blogs, kid project blogs, home school blogs, devotional blogs. I love seeing slices of what other people's lives look like.

I heart blogging, and I think everyone should try it, what do you have to lose?!

Just hopped over from Tip Junkie.

The only thing I've lost since I became a blog addict is time to clean. Oh noes...

Actually, my husband just asked me last week if I could try being a housewife this month instead of a "houseblogger." hahaha

p.s. love the name Ella--my grammy's name was Ella and it was up at the top of our baby girl name list!!

I promise you're not dumb because you don't know what oikology is!! There is actually a definition right under my header at the top of my blog because nobody knows what it is and neither did I until my word-nerd of a husband suggested it!

Please stop by anytime!

p.s. the pbj bars are friggen awesome!!

I started blogging last year before we moved to Spokane, because my mother-in-law wanted to see pictures of the kids EVERY DAY! And then my mom and sisters found out and said, "What about us?" I thought blogging would be the best way to do this.

I do have a family blog (the one I started last year). This one is more my creative outlet and one that I can invite strangers to view. I was nervous about having my kids' pictures out for all of Internet land to enjoy.
