How to decorate a coffee table...

Kimba at A Soft Place to Land always has beautiful home decor ideas, her blog is all eye-candy, all the time. I live vicariously through her and someday when we own our own home I will get busy with all the lovely things I have planned to make my home a soft place to land after a hard day in the world.

Today Kimba shows us how to decorate a coffee table, below is just one of the oh-so-fabulous examples.
In my world however, there is a very feisty one-and-a-half-year-old who would be fascinated by the open flames and all the pretty breakable things and even the rocks to dump out of the vase. So here is my take on how to decorate a coffee table, one-and-a-half-year-old style, hope you are inspired!!

Ha-love it! I read her post this morning and was thinking the exact same thing! (I'm sure a lot of moms were!)

Oh I love it! It is so practical. There is something about the natural wood... ok Kimba's is better :) I have a tray with glass pumpkins on it that I had to move when Ness came over with Preston. It is only a season. :) Thanks for the laugh.

this is great! And just think--when its time to dust, you won't have to tidy up first! :)

As soon as I saw the first picture, I thought just what everybody else thought ... "Not in my house .. or yours, with all our little ones!" :-) Our coffee table is decorated with coffee table books .. you know,"The Little Engine that Could", "Happy Baby Words", "Thomas the Tank Engine".
